The Indiana Fever guard has missed the past two games because of a groin injury, and the team announced she’ll sit out at Target Center.

According to Fever head coach Stephanie White, Caitlin Clark continues to struggle with a groin injury that has cost her the past two games. The Fever's official injury report lists Clark as "questionable" against the Lynx. In speaking to reporters, White left open the possibility that Indiana's star guard would not play for the Commissioner's Cup.

In the player vote, Clark was not even the highest-ranked player on her team – Kelsey Mitchell placed three spots better at No. 6. Clark has seen a slight dip in her stats from last season, averaging 18.2 points, 8.9 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game on 29.5 percent efficiency from beyond the arc.
