By Fernando Kallas PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) -Thirteen years of European dominance in intercontinental club football came to an end on Thursday as U.S. side Inter Miami defeated Porto 2-1 and Brazilians Botafogo beat Champions League winners Paris St Germain 1-0 at the revamped Club World Cup.

It is day six at the 2025 Club World Cup and we are entering the second round of group games as Inter Miami face FC Porto. Both teams are in search of a first win at the tournament after all four teams in Group A shared draws in the first round of fixtures.

Lionel Messi rose up to the occasion to help Inter Miami earn a 2-1 comeback victory over Portugal's Porto in the Club World Cup on Thursday. Porto got a penalty early in the game and Samu Aghehowa converted it to give his team lead.
