Kelsey Mitchell became the second Indiana Fever player expected to play during the WNBA offseason, even after signing a time-off bonus.

January played nine seasons with Indiana from 2009-17, helping the franchise win its first WNBA championship. After retiring in 2022, she joined Coach White on the Connecticut Sun’s staff, reaching the semifinals in both seasons. January then followed White to Indiana, where they have now made it a third straight semifinal appearance.

As the Aces head to Indiana for Game 3 of their WNBA semifinals series against the Fever on Friday, the pressure is on the officials to control the rough play.
