CHARLESTON, S.C. – A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for downtown Charleston in South Carolina due to heavy rain and high tide. The National Weather Service office in Charleston said the Flash Flood Warning would remain in effect until at least 3:15 p.m. after radar showed heavy rain and thunderstorms moving across the region.

Beginning shorty after 9 p.m., lightning began flashing and thunder began rolling in downtown Chicago, as pouring rain began falling off and on.

Tonight, it will be mostly cloudy with lingering showers. Lows will be in the lower to mid-70s. Tuesday will be a wet day with a risk of some flooding. A trough of low pressure and an upper-level low will move north across the state,
