Legendary chef Bobby Flay has written a sweet, sad tribute to his colleague Anne Burrell, a Food Network host who died suddenly this week at 55.

Anne Burrell, an acclaimed chef from upstate New York, hosted "Secrets of a Restaurant Chef," "Worst Cooks in America" and other popular Food Network shows.

The Cook Like a Rock Star author served as a mentor on Worst Cooks in America for its entire run, beginning in 2010. Flay was among the rotating celebrity chefs who competed with Burrell, appearing in four seasons.
