The two-venue FireAid Benefit Concert was held in Los Angeles on Thursday night to help raise money for the Southern California communities affected by the devastating fires that ignited earlier this month.

A feat in both streaming and fundraising, the nearly six-hour FireAid benefit concert featured surprises, support and strength for the Los Angeles community. After Green Day opened the show with prominent Angeleno Billie Eilish at the Kia Forum,

Headline acts for the show at the Kia Forum included No Doubt, led by Gwen Stefani, which formed in Anaheim in 1986. Before FireAid, the band has only performed once — a reunion at Coachella in April 2024 — since going on hiatus in 2015.

Within days of the devastating Los Angeles-area fires breaking out, a benefit concert was in the works. It’s already raised millions for relief efforts.

Green Day opened the show with their song “Last Night on Earth,” featuring a surprise appearance by Billie Eilish, and then followed up with their anthem “Still Breathing”
