European defense ministers agreed on Friday to develop a “drone wall” along their borders with Russia and Ukraine to better detect, track and intercept drones violating Europe’s airspace. The decision comes after a spate of incidents in which Europe’s borders and airports have been tested by rogue drones.

Danish authorities categorised it as a "hybrid attack" that came from a "professional actor".

Denmark's Aalborg airport is currently closed due to drones in its airspace, a spokesperson for the airport said late on Wednesday.

"It says something about the times we live in and what we as a society must be prepared to deal with," Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen told reporters.
