DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers are bringing back starting pitcher Jack Flaherty. The 29-year-old right-hander, who the Tigers traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers last July just before their incredible sprint toward the playoffs, has agreed to a two-year deal to return to Detroit.

Pitcher Jack Flaherty is returning to the Detroit Tigers, agreeing Sunday to a $35 million, two-year contract, a person familiar with the agreement told The Associated Press. Flaherty can opt out after the 2025 season and become a free agent again.
