The man who attacked eight people Sunday afternoon on Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder, according to jail records.
Boulder police say the suspect was heard yelling “Free Palestine” before the attack. The FBI has confirmed eight people were hurt, four men and four women ranging in age from 52 to 88. While some of the injuries were described as minor, at least two of the victims were reportedly airlifted to hospitals with burn units.
