The 43rd Connecticut Flower & Garden Show is opening this Thursday, Feb. 20 at 10 a.m. at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, according to a statement.

Publicly financed at a cost of $230 million, the convention center is as long as three football fields. It offers 40,000 square feet of ballroom space and 25,000 square feet of meeting areas.

She says one perk of living in Connecticut is the space to garden. Over 350 booths were set up at the Convention Center for people to shop, check out the unique displays and more.

The Connecticut Convention Center is located at 100 Columbus Blvd. in Hartford. The hours are: Thursday, Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
