Israel and Iran on Tuesday accepted a ceasefire plan proposed by President Donald Trump to end their 12-day war that roiled the Middle East, after Tehran launched a retaliatory limited missile

The head of the Israel Defense Forces said Tuesday that “the campaign against Iran is not over” as a ceasefire between the two countries went into effect. President Donald Trump also vowed that Israel will not attack Iran and told Israel to bring its pilots home.

The ceasefire brokered by U.S. President Donald Trump between Iran and Israel appeared to be holding on Wednesday a day after both countries signalled that their air war had ended, at least for now.
