Netflix has unveiled the first glimpse of limited series "Pride and Prejudice," with Emma Corrin as Elizabeth Bennet.

Netflix has announced the cast for its upcoming Pride and Prejudice remake, and there’s a complete miscast that reminds me nobody needs more Jane Austen on screen.

First published in 1813, Pride and Prejudice has been adapted for the screen repeatedly over the years, including a 1995 BBC miniseries and the 2005 film starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen. Netflix adapted another Austen novel, Persuasion, in 2022, but the Dakota Johnson-led effort was met with a slew of negative reviews.
