Avelo Airlines announces two new routes from Detroit Metro starting in June. Low-cost tickets are available now.

Avelo Airlines is growing its footprint with three new cities announced Tuesday as part of a broader 13-route expansion.

Avelo Airlines has announced four new routes from Wilmington International Airport, expanding service along the East Coast and in the South. Beginning in June 2025, Avelo will offer twice weekly services to the following destinations on a Boeing-Next Generation 737 aircraft:

The airline will start flying nonstop to Grand Rapids, Michigan and Long Island, New York in June. It is the only airline offering nonstop service between Central Florida and these two destinations. Avelo said one-way fees will start at $69 and operate twice weekly.
