A video game based on Marvel's "Black Panther" has been scrapped at Electronic Arts as part of the closure of Cliffhanger Games and layoffs.

Electronic Arts (EA) has allegedly canceled the Black Panther game, which was announced in July 2023. The company has also closed Cliffhanger Games, the studio behind the canceled game. The cancellation followed Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson’s statement last year that the firm would be moving away from developing future licensed IP.
