Diogo Jota and his brother, André Filipe Teixeira da Silva, have died in a car accident in Spain. The duo were travelling through the Zamora region of Sanabria when the incident occurred at the early hours of Thursday morning.

Liverpool FC winger Diogo Jota died two weeks after he married his long-time partner, Rute Cardoso. He was returning from vacation following a long season in which he helped Liverpool win the Premier League title.
