Barcelona are set to wave goodbye to Inigo Martinez shortly but his departure to Al-Nassr could well be good news for Jofre Torrents. The left-back has been tipped to make the breakthrough into the first team in the coming campaign and debuted during the club’s pre-season tour of Asia.

From a purely footballing perspective, Martinez will be a big loss, as he was such a unique piece in Flick’s Barcelona side; the only naturally left-footed centre-back, which, combined with his polished technique, made him a key asset in the build-up.
