HARRISBURG — A graphic designer is suing D.G. Yuengling & Son, claiming the Pennsylvania brewer is using one of his label designs for its Oktoberfest beer without payment.

The beer lineup from “America’s Oldest Brewery” includes the flagship Traditional Lager, Light Lager, Golden Pilsner, Black & Tan, as well as the upscale light brand, FLIGHT by Yuengling.

After Anheuser-Busch shared a video with their new logo, the Yuengling Twitter account shared it again, with the Pottsville-based brewing company noting the similarity to their own logo.

Yuengling began promoting Flight as "the next generation of light beer" since February 2020, it said in its letter. Perhaps the two brewers should sit down and hash things out over a beer sometime.
