Former Cincinnati Reds and Washington Nationals general manager Jim Bowden was asked on “Foul Territory” about his takeaways from the Yankees’ World Series rematch against the champion Dodgers this weekend. While the Yankees won Sunday 7-3, they lost the first two games while being outscored 26-7. And Bowden didn’t hold back.

The Phillies vaulted into the top spot in our power rankings for the first time … only to then crumble, ending this weekend on a four-game losing skid. Needless to say, they’ve been supplanted atop the rankings this week.

Much of the weekend revolved around the World Series rematch with the Yankees visiting the Dodgers. We didn't get a walk-off grand slam or anything, but there was entertaining baseball and a Dodgers series win.
