UPDATE: June 18 at 9:32 a.m. Fire crews are expecting increased activity on the Post Fire on Wednesday due to anticipated hot, dry and windy weather, according to a U.S. Forest Service release.

The Rancho Fire was reported around 1:30 p.m. in the area of Rancho Estates Road north of Gas Point Road in Cottonwood.
