On May 1, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) says it will reopen the Walter F. Mondale Day Use Area at William O’Brien State Park.

The riverside portion of William O’Brien State Park in Marine on St. Croix closed for renovations this week and will reopen in 2025 after accessibility improvements and other upgrades are completed.
