Two Massachusetts women are dead after a camper exploded at a campground in Maine’s Old Orchard Beach.

Shortly after arriving at the camper, the friends lit a candle to cover up the smell of what investigators believe was a propane leak.

An investigation is ongoing after two women were killed in a camper explosion that took place over the weekend, the Maine State Fire Marshal reported.
