RSPCA When a Good Samaritan noticed a fabric playpen, dirty and disheveled, abandoned on the side of the road, they viewed it as a sad sight — then they realized something was moving inside it.

“The child stated to officers that his mother ‘ran him over’ and left him on the side of the road,” authorities said. The child was transported to the nearby hospital for treatment.
