In the chip aisle, Fritos hold a similar status. Launched in 1932, Fritos were the first mass-marketed corn chips, created by Texas confectioner C.E. Doolin.
Fans love incorporating Fritos into their fast food items, too. In the past, Taco Bell and Sonic have added menu items that incorporate the salty corn chip into burritos, burgers, and wraps.
