In North Bengal, scattered rain and thundershowers are expected to continue in the upper hilly regions until Wednesday.

The presence of two upper air cyclonic circulations has urged the Regional Meteorological Centre to issue a significant weather alert for several districts of West Bengal from April 10 to April 14.

Thunderstorms with lightning and strong gusty surface winds are very likely to occur in some districts of West Bengal during 20-22 March 2025,” the regional weather forecasting agency said.
