Durham Next, the nonprofit leg of the Discover Durham visitor and tourism organization, is designing a 'Welcome to Durham' sign to be displayed in Terminal 2 at RDU.

Nearby, there is a "Welcome to Raleigh" sign created by N.C. State alumnus Mark McLawhorn. Other welcome signs are displayed throughout the terminal for the state and Raleigh.
