Idaho’s sign used to be covered in stickers from travelers hailing from all over. The sticker-covered sign was replaced with a brand new one last year, but not before being auctioned off for $2,025.

The sign, reading “Welcome to La Jolla California,” culminates three years of work. It was designed by local architect and urbanist Trace Wilson.
