Real Madrid star Dani Carvajal is hopeful that he will be able to welcome Kylian Mbappe to the club before the summer transfer window closes.

Mbappe had a productive first season at Real Madrid, scoring 43 goals and providing five assists in 57 appearances. He also won the La Liga Golden Boot award after scoring 31 goals in 34 appearances.

He became only the third Real Madrid player to win the award, following Hugo Sánchez in 1989-90 and Cristiano Ronaldo, who did it three times (2010-11, 2013-14, and 2014-15).

Mbappe has a personal story with it too. In the comic book he released about his life, one scene showed the Frenchman as a child unboxing a Real Madrid shirt for Christmas with the No 10 on the back.
