It is producing scattered showers in parts of Louisiana, Mississippi, and western Alabama this morning. Our rain chances will likely remain isolated this morning, but we could see activity become more scattered by this afternoon.

Confidence in severe weather affecting Alabama on Sunday is increasing, and there will be an enhanced risk for severe weather for part of the state. More severe storms are in the forecast for Monday as well. Tornadoes, damaging winds, hail and heavy rain will all be possible both days, according to the National Weather Service.

We have scattered light rain and it’ll last on and off through the morning hours, gradually shifting east Saturday afternoon. While the metro may not see much rain after midday, light rain will linger longer the father east you get in our viewing area.
