A Harrison County city is warning its residents about the possibility of lead in their water and LEX 18 was in Cynthiana to learn more about the levels and what the city is doing to reduce them.
These Enterprise streets with outdated water lines will be replaced over the next year as a part of a $2.9 million infrastructure upgrade project.
Those systems must submit their inventories to state officials by Oct. 16. Water systems plan to send letters to homes that have service lines with lead components by the end of the year.
