Von Miller has a new home. The veteran edge-rusher signed a contract with the Washington Commanders, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

In Washington, he joins an upstart team that reached the NFC Championship Game last year and has a chance to compete.

Miller posted a photo of himself in a Super Bowl Era Commanders uniform sporting the No. 24, which was worn by Hall of Fame cornerback Champ Bailey.

The team has announced that it will retire Hall of Fame receiver Art Monk's No. 81 during their "Sunday Night Football" matchup against the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 2.

Monk, 67, played for the team from 1980 to '93.
