The Advance Albany County Alliance’s board approved a resolution Tuesday to negotiate a contract with two Long Island firms for a $14.6 million bid to demolish Central Warehouse in Albany.

The lawsuit over the demolition contract for Central Warehouse in Albany has oral arguments scheduled for June.

The state is providing $10 million in funding to remove the Central Warehouse. Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the funding on Friday morning.
