Wright, who became Black Panther in Wakanda Forever, said that she was "manifesting" a Black Panther 3 in a January 2023 interview with Variety. “I think it’s already in the works,” she said.

First things first, Wakanda Forever is supposed to be set in late 2024, or early 2025, at least a year after the events of Avengers: Endgame, and the passing of T'Challa.

Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is an executive producer on the show, but he left the day-to-day duties to showrunner Todd Brown.
