Windows makes it easy (although not obvious) to customize the Taskbar with custom icons. You don’t need a third-party app, just the icon files to replace the defaults.
Is there any way to change this to a custom icon, or just use the icon specified in the .desktop file? I'm running GNOME 46 with the Yaru-blue-dark theme. Are you using their .deb file?
