A Russian official slammed U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday, saying that the 79-year-old president's threat to enact secondary tariffs as "theatrical."

A section of party leaders from the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), led by Deputy Party Leader Godfrey Osotsi, met leaders of the United Russia Party, a political outfit linked to President Vladimir Putin, in Moscow, Russia.

The president left the door open for talks with his Russian counterpart but complained about Russia’s continued aerial attacks on Ukraine.
