VINTON COUNTY, Ohio (WCHS) — UPDATED - 5:00 p.m., 6/11/25 Some residents in Vinton County, Ohio can return home after evacuation orders were lifted Wednesday afternoon following a chemical leak.
Vinton County is the least populous county in Ohio, with only 12,800 residents recorded in the 2020 census. Its County seat is McArthur, near the Austin Powder Red Diamond plant.
