ST PAUL - The Minnesota Wild (32-19-4) acquired Vinnie Hinostroza off waivers on Wednesday. In his first game with the Wild, Hinostroza scored against the Carolina Hurricanes.

In seven seasons in the AHL, Hinostroza has recorded 62 goals, 97 assists, and 159 points in 188 games. The thing is, from 2018 to the 2022-23 season, the 183-pound forward was always in the NHL.
