Switzerland glacier collapse has left a quiet Alpine valley reeling, after a massive chunk of the Birch Glacier broke off and triggered a landslide that buried almost all of the small mountain village of Blatten.
A massive glacier in southern Switzerland collapsed on Wednesday, with the debris burying a village and blocking a river, leading to ongoing concerns of flooding in the area. What do we know so far?
