"The continued lack of immigration reform not only harms the quality of life for farmworkers, but also threatens Ventura County's $2 billion agricultural economy," she said in a written statement.

In a statement read at the news conference, Ventura County Farm Bureau Executive Director Maureen McGuire said she received reports ICE agents tried to enter five local packing facilities on June 10 and also entered 10 different farm fields for enforcement activities.
