You do not have a problem with any cable, converter, LED, monitor, speaker, keyboard, pet dog, refrigerator or mouse - just to head off any other crazy unrelated guesses you might have.

As grstandord mentioned above, you should be fine with an HDMI-to-VGA converter. I actually used an HDMI-to-DVI cable to connect it to my secondary monitor (via my capture card).
