URBANA, Ill. (CBS) -- The chancellor of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is stepping down at the end of the year. Robert Jones has been at the helm for nine years.
The University of Illinois system reported a record number of enrollments in September with 97,772 students across U. of I.’s three campuses, including 59,238 students at Urbana-Champaign.
