Out June 11, The Umbrella Academy: Plan B will be co-written by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, who will also illustrate. Per the official description first reported by Variety, the comic will go deep on the dynamic between the Umbrella Academy and their new rivals, the Sparrows:

The Umbrella Academy is returning to comics in July with its first full series in six years. As revealed by Variety yesterday, The Umbrella Academy: Plan B is the fourth full run of the hit book and will reunite the original creative team of co-writers Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá,

Netflix’s live-action hero series The Umbrella Academy is done, and the ending still hurts our hearts. It is highly unlikely that we will get a spinoff series.

It will be released June 11 and is currently available for preorder for $4.99. Dark Horse says Issue #1 will feature six variant covers illustrated by artists including Fabio Moon, Claire Roe, Mike del Mundo, Duncan Fegredo, David Aja and Jill Thompson.
