Jonesboro police on Tuesday afternoon arrested a 15-year-old girl in connection with a threat made toward Nettleton Public Schools that resulted in a heightened police presence on campus.

Despite rumors to the contrary, Dr. Lacy Baker, superintendent of curriculum and assessment for Nettleton Public Schools, stressed that no schools within the district were on lockdown.
