Georgia mascot Uga, an English Bulldog, won't be making the trip to Austin for this Saturday's game between Texas football and Georgia, according to the mascot's handler, Charles Seiler.
It's worth noting that Uga XI replaced Uga X, the mascot involved in the 2019 altercation, in 2023 and the owner denied that the decision had anything to do with the ongoing beef.
Uga lives in Savannah, Georgia, five hours from the University's campus, and would have then had to fly two hours to Austin. Seiler says Uga XI hasn't even been on the team bus yet.
