Nearly a year after a mob attacked UCLA students and faculty who formed an encampment protesting Israel’s war in Gaza, participants in that encampment are suing senior officials from the University of California and UCLA,

The University of California, Los Angeles, was sued on Thursday over a 2024 mob attack on pro-Palestinian protesters at the height of the U.S. campus protest movement against Israel's war in Gaza, a court filing showed.

Over one hundred protestors walked across the UCLA campus, marching from Royce Quad to Murphy Hall, chanting, ‘Free Mahmoud Khalid now.’
