The Boeing Company and Turkish Airlines have signed an order for five Boeing 777-300ER (Extended Range) airplanes valued at US$1.36 billion at current list prices.

A Turkish Airlines plane flew from Istanbul to Kabul on Monday amid chaos at the airport. It landed in Kabul and departed again for Istanbul with more than 320 passengers, reports said.
