Rey Mysterio divulged this week that when he decides to retire from pro wrestling, he plans to announce it ahead of time, similar to what John Cena is doing with his 2025 retirement tour.

WWE Hall of Famers Trish Stratus and Lita were the first women to main event an episode of "WWE Raw," laying the foundation for the substantive women's wrestling WWE fans enjoy today.

So much in fact that on December 6, 2004, Stratus and Lita were the main event of Raw. A trailblazing battle between these future Hall of Famers continues to be celebrated now 20 years later.

Trish Stratus has long held her Monday Night Raw main event with Lita as her favorite ever match from a glittering career. But now the 2004 bout has some company atop that list.

The spring and summer of 2023 served as Trish's first truly extended run with WWE in 17 years. Her lengthy rivalry with Becky Lynch checked a number of boxes for Stratus creatively.
