In 2018, Robert Bowers attacked worshippers at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, killing 11 people and injuring seven more in the deadliest antisemitic attack in American history.
Bowers blasted his way into Tree of Life on Oct. 27, 2018, and killed members of the Dor Hadash, New Light and Tree of Life congregations, which shared the synagogue building.
