LARGO, Fla. (WFLA) — Damage was reported in Pinellas County after severe thunderstorms moved through the area Wednesday afternoon, bringing high winds, hail and even a tornado.

One resident captured small pieces of debris appearing to float around in the sky off Ulmerton Road and Belcher Road.

The National Weather Service confirmed on Thursday that an EF-1 tornado with peak 90 mph winds moved along a 2.11 mile path near Ulmerton Road in Largo.
