Owners of the Tip Top Deluxe Bar & Grill, 760 Butterworth St. SW, fought the citations for three years and ultimately won at the state Court of Appeals.

The Tip Top Deluxe Bar and Grill is not required to pay any fines for nearly two dozen noise violation tickets issued by the Grand Rapids Police in the past few years.
