Blue Bell's popular Tin Roof flavor has returned to grocery stores and wherever else you get ice cream, but only for a limited time. The 2023 re-launch also has a new carton.

Blue Bell Ice Cream has announced the return of one of its most requested flavors, Tin Roof, for 2023 with a brand-new carton design.

According to the company’s Twitter, this is the first time Blue Bell has offered its Tin Roof ice cream since 2019. The ice cream will be available for a limited time in the half-gallon size.

It said the ice cream has not been directly linked to the salmonella outbreak. Supermarket chains across the country have voluntarily recalled products made with peanut butter from the Blakely plant.

Toft's half gallon Tin Roof Sundae Product UPC is 19473-00732, and the Code Date is 01.06.10. Tin Roof Sundae in half-gallon cartons is the only item in this voluntary recall.

The Roseburg company said it is telling stores to pull Tin Roof Sundae ice cream sold in 1.75 gallon and pint containers and Premium Lite Tin Roof Sundae ice cream sold in 1.75 gallon containers.
